Some quests require the player to simply collect materials, food, fish, or other resources, others ask for more specific actions, like chasing or feeding imps, catching critters, collecting hidden objects, or taking photos. Once a bear reaches five hearts, their area will stay permanently colored. Once the player completes a quest for a bear, this bear's area will get colored and will stay lit and colored until the start of the next game day. If a quest requires one or more items from a group (say, food, fish, or critters) instead of handing in random items right away, the window with list of items will appear, and player will be prompted to select the items they would like to give until the quest requirements are met. The items given to bears are transferred from the player's backpack or storage automatically. The player can select the icon to see the quest's requirements and its time limit (if applies).Īfter collecting all items required to complete the quest, the player needs to talk to the bear that has given it to hand the quest in and get their reward. Once the quest is accepted, its icon will be shown in the quest log in the top right corner of the screen. If both a bear and their area are colored, they will not give any quests, but the player can still converse with them to listen to some gossip or occasionally advance their story. If a bear is colored but her area is not, they will give the player a daily quest. ![]() If a bear is ghostly blue and their area is not colored, they will give the player a story quest. The quest can be started by speaking to that bear and selecting the quest option if necessary. Every day a bear has a chance to give the player a quest, provided they has no quest active.
